In a groundbreaking event, Dato’ Bernard Teo, Director of ODR, revealed the world’s only 3D-printed Mercedes-Benz. The momentous occasion took place at the Tokyo Auto Salon, KUALA LUMPUR, capturing the attention of automotive enthusiasts and industry professionals alike.

YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Malaysia’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) graced the unveiling ceremony, adding prestige to the event. Their presence acknowledged the significance of this technological achievement for Malaysia.

The Mercedes-Benz car has achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the world’s first vehicle with a 3D-printed body kit. The wheels, a testament to Malaysian ingenuity, were meticulously designed and manufactured by Ultimate Wheels Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd.

The entire body design was conceptualised and brought to life by ODR Wrapxpert Teckwrap Symmetry Works, an esteemed design firm specialising in vehicle wraps. The project involved a collaborative effort by a dedicated team of Malaysian experts, reflecting a shared sense of pride and accomplishment.
