KUALA LUMPUR, 22 September 2026 — A new road connection linking Jalan Duta Kiara and Jalan Kiara 3 in Mont Kiara has officially opened, creating an additional access route for residents, businesses, pedestrians and motorists travelling within and around the neighbourhood.
The new connection was officially officiated by YB Puan Hannah Yeoh Tseow Suan, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) and Member of Parliament for Segambut, with YBhg. Datuk Seri TPr Fadlun bin Mak Ujud, Mayor of Kuala Lumpur, in attendance.
Hosted by Bon Estates Founder and Chairman Mr Goh Soo Sing, CEO Mr Chan Jin-Wy and the Bon Estates team, the ceremony featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of the new road.
First announced in 2023, Bon Estates undertook the road as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aiming to strengthen connectivity and contribute to the surrounding community.
The completed connection comprises a two-lane, two-way road, with one lane in each direction, together with a dedicated pedestrian walkway. It provides a more direct route from Jalan Kiara 3 towards Solaris Dutamas, with onward connectivity to Segambut and surrounding areas.
The additional access provides road users with another route through the neighbourhood and is expected to support traffic movement along Jalan Kiara 3, particularly during periods of heavier traffic, while giving motorists and pedestrians greater flexibility in navigating the area.
The road connection forms part of The Good Radius, an initiative by Bon Estates built around a simple idea: the value of a development should not stop at its boundaries, but should extend to the community and environment around it.

The opening of the road comes ahead of the upcoming Vacant Possession of Bon Kiara, Bon Estates’ second high-rise development in Mont Kiara. Comprising 410 large-format residences, Bon Kiara is now fully sold, with key handover scheduled for October 2026. The project is also progressing ahead of schedule. Together, the road opening and upcoming handover mark two important milestones for Bon Estates in a year when the company celebrates its 10th anniversary in the Klang Valley.
Mr Chan Jin-Wy, Chief Executive Officer of Bon Estates, said, “The completion of Bon Kiara and the opening of this road are two different milestones. One is about delivering homes to homeowners; the other is about contributing to the neighbourhood around them.”
The distinction reflects the broader thinking behind The Good Radius. While Bon Kiara represents Bon Estates’ commitment to creating and delivering homes for its homeowners, the new road represents a contribution that extends beyond the development itself, creating an everyday connection that can be used by the wider community.
