Subang Jaya, 2nd December 2024 – AvalandAvaland has fulfilled its commitment to promote community well-being in the Klang Valley by completing its health screening program. The plan to perform more than 2,000 screenings in collaboration with the National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia (NKF) and the donation of ten cutting-edge vital signs monitoring equipment to NKF’s dialysis facilities across the Klang Valley further demonstrates Avaland’s dedication to community health.
Avaland’s health screening program was introduced earlier this year with the goal of increasing public awareness of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), such as renal disease, diabetes, and hypertension. Healthcare providers in the Klang Valley will be able to detect and treat any negative reactions or complications that may occur during patients’ dialysis sessions thanks to the donated devices, which include oxygen saturation (SPO2) and electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring. Along with holding public screenings, Avaland also involved staff members in the initiative, encouraging a culture of pride and volunteerism.

Avaland’s Sales Gallery in Anja Bangi hosted the inaugural health screening event, which Avaland Show Village followed in Cybersouth and Lakefront Cyberjaya. The program came to a triumphant finish over the weekend with the Avenue25 Sales Gallery hosting the year’s last health screening event. With free screenings and education on kidney health and Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), this event concluded Avaland’s year-long commitment to advancing community health in the Klang Valley.
