PORTMAN College warmly invites students, partners and friends to come together for a joyous Chinese New Year Celebration 2026, as we usher in the Year of the Horse 🐎 with tradition, togetherness and festive spirit.
This special gathering is more than a celebration; it is an opportunity to reconnect with the PORTMAN community, strengthen relationships, and welcome a new year filled with prosperity and positive beginnings. Guests can look forward to an afternoon of meaningful conversations, festive rituals and delicious food, all set within a vibrant Chinese New Year atmosphere.
The celebration will take place on Thursday, 26 February 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at PORTMAN College @ Mines 2. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their finest Chinese New Year outfits, adding colour and cheer to the occasion.
One of the highlights of the event will be the traditional Lou Sang (Prosperity Toss), symbolising abundance, success and unity for the year ahead. Food and refreshments will be provided, alongside a relaxed networking session where guests can engage with PORTMAN partners, friends and members of the wider community. Festive decorations and CNY elements will complete the celebratory experience.
