Armani Group, recognised for its distinguished portfolio of luxury property developments in Malaysia, is expanding its international presence into Kazakhstan through a strategic collaboration with TBay and Etagi formalised by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The collaboration marks the Group’s entry into the Kazakhstan market, where its luxury developments, led by multi-award-winning Armani Hallson KLCC, will be introduced to a new pool of buyers, investors and high-net-worth individuals.
The MoU signing took place on 6 August 2026 at The St. Regis Astana, bringing together investors, high-net-worth individuals, business leaders and representatives from Malaysia and Kazakhstan. The occasion also reflected the growing connections between the two countries, with representatives from Tourism Malaysia and the Embassy of Malaysia in attendance, highlighting opportunities across investment, tourism, education and business collaboration.

As part of the new partnership, TBay has been appointed as Armani Group’s consultancy partner for the Kazakhstan market, while Etagi will support the introduction of Armani Group’s developments through its established local real estate network.
For Armani Group, the move comes as interest from Kazakhstan towards Malaysia’s luxury property sector continues to grow.
“Kazakhstan is a market that has shown encouraging interest in Malaysia’s luxury property segment. Over time, we have seen enquiries and interest from Kazakhstan investors and families seeking quality developments with strong long-term value. We believe this is the right time to bring Armani Hallson KLCC closer to this market,” said William Lau, Group Sales & Marketing Director of Armani Group.
The partnership also reflects an opportunity to create a stronger bridge between Malaysia’s luxury property market and Kazakhstan’s increasingly international property-buying community.
According to Clinton Ooi, Founder of TBay, the collaboration comes at a timely juncture as more Kazakhstan buyers explore opportunities beyond their home market.
“Kazakhstan has shown encouraging interest in Malaysia, not only as a travel, healthcare and education destination, but also as a market with growing awareness of Malaysia’s property investment potential. We sincerely thank CSQ for facilitating the connection with Etagi, enabling this collaboration to move forward as part of Armani Group’s Kazakhstan market expansion,” said Ooi.
The collaboration was facilitated with the support of CSQ International Consulting, a Malaysia-based professional services group with experience in legal and business consulting services. Its role helped connect the parties and support the development of the partnership between Armani Group, TBay and Etagi.
For IIdar Borisovich Khusanov of Etagi, the opportunity extends beyond simply bringing Malaysian developments to a new market. It is also about giving Kazakhstan buyers greater access to credible international property opportunities.
“We are pleased to be part of this collaboration with Armani Group and TBay. For Kazakhstan buyers, interest in overseas property is no longer only about location, but also confidence, clarity and access to the right opportunities. Through Etagi’s local network and understanding of the Kazakhstan market, we aim to make Malaysian real estate more accessible to qualified buyers and investors who are looking for quality developments with long-term value,” said Khusanov.
At the forefront of Armani Group’s Kazakhstan initiative is Armani Hallson KLCC, the Group’s multi-award-winning development and the first project to be introduced to buyers and investors in the market.
The initiative will subsequently be extended progressively to selected developments within Armani Group’s portfolio, marking another step in Armani Group’s international growth strategy and its ambition to bring its luxury property offerings to a wider global audience.
With Kazakhstan now forming part of its expanding international outlook, Armani Group continues to explore new markets and build strategic partnerships that connect its developments with discerning buyers and investors beyond Malaysia.
