You can learn to run a business. It is harder to unlearn the instinct to build. Jeremy Jaya Raj speaks technology in the language he knows best: code. But his greater achievement has been turning that technical instinct into people, strategy and a business that grew from a one-person venture into a regional team. That distinction has shaped not only how he built Codeme Pro, but how he leads, with the mindset of a builder and the perspective of an entrepreneur.
As Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Codeme Pro Sdn Bhd, Jeremy remains unusually close to the work behind the business. After more than 26 years in technology, he still codes, architects solutions and reviews delivery. That technical grounding has become a defining part of his leadership. Jeremy understands what happens beneath the surface, allowing him to bridge engineering and entrepreneurship without losing sight of either.
Long before Codeme Pro came into the picture, Jeremy had already spent years navigating the complexities of enterprise technology. From Centric Business Solutions to Nintex, Sitecore and OutSystems, each chapter added another layer to his understanding of how technology, people and businesses need to work together. At OutSystems, he took that experience to the regional stage, leading digital transformation programmes and major enterprise engagements across APAC. By the time he ventured out on his own, he was bringing more than technical expertise to the table; he understood what it takes to turn technology into business value.
Then, in 2022, Jeremy put that experience to work on his own terms. Codeme Pro quickly grew into a 50-member technical organisation spanning Malaysia, India, Indonesia and Pakistan, with Singapore joining its regional footprint in 2024. In just three years, the company reached RM25 million in revenue, maintained an average 40 per cent delivery margin and built a portfolio of 15 customers, including five major enterprise accounts. But the numbers are only the visible layer.
Jeremy’s more enduring contribution is the capability he is building behind them. His graduate training programme creates a pathway for emerging developers, strengthening the talent pipeline while giving young technologists room to grow in a rapidly evolving industry. He has also championed AI-driven engineering practices and shared his expertise on using low-code and AI to accelerate digital transformation.
That combination of technical depth and entrepreneurial execution has not gone unnoticed. Jeremy has been recognised with the Golden Bull Award 2026, Dun & Bradstreet Business Eminence Award 2025 and MDEC Digital Expert Network recognition, alongside multiple accolades from OutSystems throughout his career.
Jeremy approaches leadership much like he approaches engineering: understand the system, strengthen the foundation and never build without thinking about what comes next. He applies that same logic to people and business, developing the right capabilities, solving problems at their source and creating structures built to scale.
