Ombak KLCC is designed around a simple idea: the mall should be somewhere you want to spend time, not somewhere you simply go to buy something.
Spread across seven floors, the development is planned with approximately 120 retail spaces, alongside dining and lifestyle offerings. It is also connected to the wider KLCC area, with Persiaran KLCC MRT just a short walk away and covered links connecting it to KLCC Park and Suria KLCC.
That makes it particularly convenient for a spontaneous weekend outing, whether the plan is coffee and brunch, shopping, a little window shopping or simply wandering around.
Come for the Shopping, Stay for the Experience
Ombak KLCC’s retail mix is being built around everyday lifestyle rather than just traditional mall shopping.
There are food and beverage outlets, fashion and lifestyle spaces, a premium grocery offering and entertainment concepts. Some of the early attractions have already begun drawing attention, including Korean selfie studio KPIX, Milolo’s blind-box collection and various food and beverage outlets.
More importantly, the tenant mix is still growing. At the time of its opening, the mall was operating at around 30% occupancy, with more outlets expected to open progressively.

Where Art Takes Centre Stage
Perhaps what makes Ombak KLCC different is that art is not treated as an afterthought.
GALERI PETRONAS has relocated to the new destination as its anchor cultural attraction. The gallery is designed to bring contemporary art closer to everyday city life, with its new space gradually opening through a phased approach.
There is also a rooftop Sky Garden, offering an open-air space with views towards the KL skyline and PETRONAS Twin Towers. So, between shopping bags and coffee cups, visitors can also get a little dose of culture and fresh air.

Even the building itself is designed to make people stop and look.
Inspired by the movement of waves and the craft of weaving, Ombak KLCC features flowing architectural forms that wrap around the building. Its name, Ombak, meaning “wave” in Malay, is reflected in the building’s curving design. And perhaps that is the real appeal.
